Women's Size Guide

Measure in your underwear only. Stand with your heels together and keep the measuring tape straight. Place the tape over your hips, pubic bone and bottom at the fullest part. The tape should touch your body at all points but not be pulled tight.

To ensure the ideal fit for your Activate compression wear, we suggest that if you are towards the top end of a size you should select the next size up.

We understand how difficult it can be choosing the right size when your shape is continually changing!  Our general rule is to choose your pre-pregnancy size.  All of our carefully picked designs are cut specifically for maternity.  If you are in between sizes or fall into two sizing categories, decide how fitted you would like the outfit to be (do you want to allow extra room for growth?).

As a general rule, our maternity jeans are designed to fit the following body measurements. There may be slight variations to this depending on the product.

There are 4 important measurements to consider when purchasing a pair of maternity jeans:

  1. Front Rise
    Our maternity jeans are typically all low rise (7.5”). Use your favourite pair of jeans to measure the crotch to the top of the front waistband.
  2. Waist
    In most cases, the maternity jean size correct for you will be the same size as you normally wear. Elasticity in the side pockets will accommodate the growth of your stomach.
  3. Hip
    The hip should be measured around its fullest part (about 8” below your waist).
  4. Length
    This is also known as inseam or inside leg. Use your favourite pair of jeans to measure from the crotch to the hem, down the inside leg.
